You said it wasn't getting enough mileage to justify keeping it. I jokingly offered to put mileage on it for free, take some great photos in out-of-the-way places, and give it back.

Sorry if it fell flat...

Does that include the 2018 Lincoln round trip?

I'm sure JV's car presents better than 90 percent of the cars out there, even with higher miles, so he could certainly list it for 35 and see what happens.
Fair. The 80k didn't quite compute with me, low 30's is a more realistic goal.

14k in 3 yrs (one covid) is quite enough. I've driven mine less in the last 3. I'm coming up on five years and about to hit 18,000 miles that I've put on it, more of it earlier than later. By that logic, I should sell, but then what... I'll go looking for a cherry 911 and spend even more money for a car that will sit...

Perhaps it's an itch for something else, or a need to reduce "things", when you have a daily, a truck and a race car, what is the sports car for? It's certainly enough mileage... In fact, if you manage to drive less, over time you'll get closer to average mileage for the cohort.

No Nebraska trips in that time, maybe a couple trips to Finger lakes... I'm almost all city driving.

It makes sense JV has more miles since it's probably 40 mile round trip to go most places?

Yes, she knows. Anyway, if I change my mind I can always de-list it.

Probably should have listed it a few k higher. I don't thinknit will be for sale long before you get an offer at listed price. Good luck, whatever direction you decide to go.

I think so as well - though lazy me stopped researching comps as soon as I saw his post.
