Honda Accord 6MT

Since there has been discussion about this car on the forum...

Too bad it matches what I was expecting, too soft and not sporty

I've been seeing them on the streets of Atlanta. And they are HUGE!

It would be a really interesting beater if they made it 4WD.

I'm hearing things about lousy Honda quality these days (which the video also mentions).

Our Acura MDX is almost 3 years old and hasn't had a single issue ... now that I said that I probably just jinxed myself

Those guys are tiny, or that thing is huge.

I had a first generation Accord hatchback 5 speed. My father gave it to me for free after he put 220,000 miles on it.

I got what I paid for

I had one, too. (I bought mine in the 80s.) Great car. Had it for 9 years. Japan-made.

Good to hear. My friends with an Acura MDX just got rid of it for an X5. Wonder how it will compare over the long haul.

My Mom also had one. She ordered one when they were announced. She got one of the first batch to hit NJ. The dealer she ordered it from didn't even try to get extra dollars for it. Within a few weeks of her getting it, dealers were asking 1500-2000 over MSRP.

About 4 months after she bought it, DOW gave her a company car and she offered it to me. I had my eye on a 2002Tii and passed on it. She offered it to me for what she paid, and I stupidly turned it down.

I ended up selling it for her (at a 1200 dollar profit) which she let me keep. I must have gotten 120 phone calls from the add I placed. They were in such high demand when first introduced. Plus then they were only made in Japan, so there was a long wait for orders
