Edit: SMH, are you guys being serious re acquiring an all EV Boxster?
If the future is EV or PHEV? It seems better placed midships. So that would be my preference.

I hope the 911 can holdout as long as possible

Would the batteries not be a skateboard design? I am inquiring because I honestly do not know as I have paid very little attention to the EV scene.

I just learned that U.S. Porsche dealers were allocated nine hundred 911s for the next three months. That is for the entire country with about 190 dealers… Yikes!

Edit: Normal allocation is around 2500 911s (*fixed) for the same time period.

I assume these are supply chain issues and Porsche prioritizing the production of EVs. It's wild.

It was stated that the base Macan and Cayenne as well as the S in both is a non-issue to order, plenty of allocations.

Yeah the dealer that told me the US was getting "a handful" of GTS allocations for Q4 (with his dealership getting zero) also said they are getting ZERO 911s this quarter. Yikes.

The wait list for A GTS is pegged now at 2 years.

And a GT3? It’s game over.

As we have been discussing these are the last of the ICE 911s.
