I don’t talk about 911’s to much well mostly due to pricing but hot dam this is a nice spec.
Just remove all the dumb tape from the sides and the hood. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...arrera-gts-21/

Maybe it is just the tape but I find that car to be kind of ick.

Ugh… titanium silver. Nevertheless it will be interesting to see what it brings, especially since Nick owns one. Last edited by SCA; 01-26-2022 at 11:38 AM. |

I tend to think that low-ish value rare vehicles probably do better in a patient buy-it-now format than an auction. But I will certainly be curious.

Yum… Imola Red over Caramel E39 M5. This is only the second or third one I have seen listed in nearly 3 years. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2000-bmw-m5-185/

I actually looked at an Imola/Black car before I got mine. I was not in the best shape so I passed. Carbon was not what I wanted but after a really long search it was the best I found at the time for a reasonable price. The order I was searching in was LeMans, Imola then Carbon. I also wanted the sport leather (More durable) in either black or silverstone (What my car had). One of my last pics.

The clearcoat on Imola is prone to failure if it is not religiously garage kept. I wonder if BMW has resolved that? I tend to think it is a red thing. I like LeMans too, but there appears to be more of them produced versus Imola. Wow! It looked great when you had it for sale, I wish I had known… I was MIA from here and many of the other auto forums I formerly frequented. |

I am a bit like you on the OCD (less so on weekly washes then before but if it does not rain Hoc Silver stays good looking longer) front but I have a limit and it was reached with that car. It only took 11y.
