As far as I know these are the original brakes.

The shop is also doing some warrenty work at the same time. All new front bushings and a new guibo.

Next big ticket non covered ware item early next year, shocks and struts. I really should keep is at that point.
Extended warrenty saves my ass on this car yet again. The front control arm bushings and the guibo covered. Just heard back from the dealer that the adjuster approved both. Another $2,200.

Wow, they really charge out the ass for that stuff. That's a few hundred bucks in parts.

You have no idea. I got quotes for doing the brakes from the dealer and my indi shop. For all four rotors, pads, sensors and labor they where within 50 bucks of each other at $1,750 and change.

I then asked the indie shop how many hours in labor and there labor rate. Turns out the labor piece was only around 300-325 total.

Then I went online and found that full pkg from turner motor sports that even includes the brake fluid for $575. The indi shop is going to install this for me for the $300 in labor (I have been going there for over 10y so they know me really well and the front desk guy is my neighbor.

So that's NEARLY a $900 dollar savings in parts costs and its not like the turner kit contains substandard parts. JEZZ!!

Fidelity Platinum Level Warranty. 7y - 100K miles. Transferable once from the original owner.

Was one of the reasons I got the car. He got it thinking he would keep the car forever then got caught in the downturn and had to sell it.

Covers as much as can be minus brakes, clutch, tires, shocks and struts. Of these I will down to struts and shocks as of next week that have not been delt within the last year.

$50 deductable each visit.
