Good supplier for rotor's
Hey guys,
I need to replece the front rotors on the E36 again. I bought brembo's the last time on a group buy when I did them at 40K miles. Since I am selling the car they dont have to be super fancy or anything I just need to do the fronts becasue they are ready and will show in a pre inspection. Any good sites that are not $$$$?? Thanks

These seem to be a good price. 34112227171 Zimmermann Brake Disc/Brake Rotor, Directional; Front Left; Vented 315x28mm 1 per car. $64.61

I went with Zimmerman rotors on my E46 (front and rear) when I did the brakes. They seem to be fine. With (new) OEM brake pads the braking felt just like stock, which to me felt very good for the street. I haven't noticed any problems with them. Though I haven't gotten out there with a micrometer or magnafying glass to check for wear rates or any small crack problems.
Sorry there isn't more to tell. They seem to be working.

Thanks for the reply. Total bill shipped was aroundf $185 for two rotors, pads and wear sensor for the front brakes. MUCH better then the local shop that wanted like $480 for just the parts.

Yup.
I did a 4-brake job on the E46. Rwg sent me some spare brake pads he didn't need any more (again, thanks!) and I picked up the rest of the parts on-line. If I paid "full" price with the online suppliers (buying the brake pads, too) it would have been $330-ish for:
Local shops were quoting me close to $900 for the brake job. And it was freak'n easy to do the brakes.
