Those of you who have leather issues, check out Fibrenew. My good buddy (possibly known to a few of you) owns a franchise in NC:

He recently did the seats and steering wheel on a 993, and the results are jawdropping. He will readily admit that the most cost-effective solution is sometimes just replacement, and that's probably the case for something small like an armrest. But those $$$ seats...

The drivers seat is a disaster so I might give this a try if I can't find a used seat. I also want to retrofit heated seats too though, so if I can just find a used set that will simplify things.

They're "ette (tan).

I'd consider throwing leather in there if I thought it would match.

The seat rails of the e46 Are 18" apart and the bolt holes to hold the to the floor are 14" part from top to bottom. Now the rails on the e90 are 16.5 " apart/wide but 14" long from top to bottom. And is more kicked over the the right side. So a pice of 1/8 steel plate 16" long and 4" wide with 4 holes drilled 14" lengthwise and 1.5" apart. Then this was bolted to the frame rails. Then dropped the seat on the floor and bolted down and fits like a glove.
E90 seats in e46 it can be done!

I’ll check on the SE46 group to see what’s out there.
