Outstanding niche car that could obviate the need for a manual GTS 992.1?

I wasn’t paying attention. The key thing for me was the manual.
Really fun car to drive. I think the best part is the shorter gearing which helps with the typically tall Porsche cogs. It is refreshing to drive a Carrera T. It might be as fun as the Boxster. Not that this is a high bar —but I suspect a GT3 will always be more high strung to get there. And the Turbo feels very heavy handed. This car drove more like the Boxster but with lightness. And I like the standard sport exhaust. Damping is a little woolly. But the 3.0TT has enough torque to really be fun. More so just because this car is so damn light.

Congrats. Base manual 991.2s are awesome cars. Some might say 'verts are even more fun.
Edit: Might want to pick up one of these if shutting off auto start stop every time you get in annoys you: T-design9.com It works great.

its a 'memory module' that plugs in line with the center console switches and remembers your previous settings at power off for all center console switches + sport chrono. Basically, if you shut the car down with PSE on, A/S/S off, pasm in sport when you turn the car on for the next drive, all of those settings are reinstated. Without the module, mine defaults to the fuel saving settings pre DOT requirements.
In BMWs you use a tool like Bimmercode to soft set these things, but in Porsche and MB, people seem to go the route of these little inline modules. I have the smarttop module for the convertible features as well.
