Too many. That's why I decided to take a couple of months on the commuter decision to just get the right one.

The 'Priller was a fiasco because Jay was an ass, though, so I'm not takin' responsibility for that one. The GS fits the space the Aprilia was supposed to.

I was worried about that, but it doesn't feel topheavy at all. Mebbe because the bike just sits so low, and the engine is one of the lowest points. Mebbe because the tank is plastic.

But ja - and so I walk to the grocery, book, and electronics stores.

Ya, but the buses run whether you ride them or not. There is almost no marginal cost for an additional rider on a bus.

Earth killer! :P

Ah, but they adapt routes based on ridership - otherwise, I'd be an earth-killer for moving in with ZD in 2000... (and walking to work instead of bussing).

Cleaner in pollutants per mile driven or cleaner in pollutants per mile, per passenger?

You need a bike dude. They rock.

On a side note, I witnessed a bad accident (no fatalities) involving a rice-burner and a custom harley.

Guy was ok, but his bike was buckled over and nearly in two pieces.

Motorcyclists have no business on the road unless they know how to drive defensive. (it appeared that he was doing the right things).

Rice burners have no business on the road ever!.

tangent over.

Yeah, but imagine if it had been an F-150 on the other side. If you're going to hit something, better it be small.
