Bring-a-Trailer E30 M3 auction

BaT is now hosting auctions; one of the first cars on the block is an ex-Sam Smith E30 M3 that presents very nicely.

Bidding is now at $50K (spit take) with 1 hour 30 to go.

Oh, and someone purporting to be EAG was bidding, though who knows if it was really them.

If it's not at $50k, what is it at?

it is iconic.

and it's damn fine at a technical track.

i could see anything below $100,000 as justifiable because of what it represents and this is also a fantastic example.

put it this way: it drives a helluva lot better than a late 60s stingray and it's the same level of money.

If I had the money and the space for multiple cars maybe. But with a no to both there are SO MANY cars I would rather have at that price. The E30 M3 has never really seemed that big of a deal to me.
