Agreed. Shitty and/or mismatched tires = run away in my book.

This seems to have evolved to a "cool car" thread. I was totally unaware that new versions of these were being developed until 10 mins ago:

Yeah, these are promising but the old twin turbo V6 didn't win many plaudits, and I continue to think that the supercharged V8 is just...too much.

But I'm glad they're going to push at least a few more manuals out the door before the EV wave hits.

I must be showing my need to recalibrate in this used car market.

But the e30 and e46 m3’s went for crazy money.

Saw truly lovely E28 at my dealer this weekend. Even the interior looked pristine. A stick.

Went for half of what I expected

I have no idea if it is true or not, but I read a story on an online car magazine that said this car had belonged to Paul Walker and they linked to the auction in the article.

The BAT listing did not list Paul Walker as a previous owner

Bumping this, it's only at $15k with ~ 3 hours to go.

Granted, this is very nearly the least-desirable spec for an FD. It's a touring model, it has a tan interior, it's a '93, and it's red. Plus it has an, um, interesting? history. The only way it could really be worse (other than condition / mileage) would be for it to have an automatic. But it's still cheaper than I'd have expected. My guess is it finishes around 20k?

Low mileage reigns supreme once again.. sold for $28,000.

Assume clyde is now out of the market, but this is an interesting one--it's actually been driven:
