They are also saying that the G87 will have a lot more options to choose from then the F87. So if we are talking maybe $64 for the base car then add items like HUD, those awesome carbon buckets, a carbon roof, carbon pkg etc etc and your individual paint one could be staring at a high $70’s M2.

The platform in general was missing many options it should have had. LCA and HUD, chief among them. Although, as we've discussed, it's possible to do without them. But also on the list: Fog lamp, front camera, ventilated seats.

Given that a 330i is 50,000+, I don’t find this price point even loaded to be so terrible. We do want BMW to make money on this variant to induce them to continue making cars like this, after all.

A couple things I see:

- That sunroof is pretty dam big. View from the inside.
- Man those M sport seats are super nice and seem to have better leather then my car.
- The lower rear diffuser on this model looks like flat plastic and not shiny like most I have seen. A big improvement and maybe an option?
- I hope these interior screens are available in the G87 before they go full panel video game.
- I hate the square fake exhaust tips. Not that I am interested in the G42 anyway.
- The straight on front and rear view help this car. They are not all that bad. Neither is the direct side view. ANY three quarter view us where the design falls apart.

A real bargain when compared to a 12 year old 997.2 C2S.

If made would you get this instead of a G87? Assuming you could deal with the 2 seater part and it came in an M version with the B58 and while we are dreaming a manual also.
