I wonder what the uptake is on the manual for all of the M2's so far.

This says 70/30 in favor of DCT in the UK. I thought I read somewhere it was almost inverse in the states.

Totally agree about the awd ... my 650 coupe was rwd and you couldn't enjoy the car off the line as traction control always kicked in .. it was frustrating as hell.

As far as the automatic ... these cars are huge ... I can't see a manual in such a big heavy car ... don't be disappointed I really don't see any of us wanting a big heavy sedan in a manual ...
