Although not ideal as it can be seen as a party vehicle and it's not that safe, I'm kinda hoping the kids give me an excuse to buy a 4-door Wrangler. That's at least 7+ years away, so I have plenty of time to annoy you all about it.

First cars I was allowed to drive (in '96-99)

-State auction POS '84 Cavalier
-'85 MB 190D 2.2 (aka world slowest car) It was also beat to hell with nearly 200k miles when we got it.
-At times "my sister's" '91 corolla (this is '99+)
-At times the family car ('91 Taurus or '94 Mercury Sable - both wagons)

I never had a car truly mine or even mostly mine until I bought myself my '90 190E 2.6 in 2000.

LOL

My first car....

I've always liked having unique cars. The Mustang was only 13 years old when I started driving it - but it was a 'classic' even then. Funny how that has not changed since.

My sons first car was/is a 2015 A3 though we are supposed to be picking up his 340i next week ... my daughter who just got her license a few months ago has the 2017 A4.

My buddy's first car, circa 1991, was a '72 Chevelle Malibu (convertible) with a solid-lifter LT-1 out of a '70 Corvette. Four wheel drum brakes, lap belts, what were our parents thinking letting us go around in that car?

I inherited my first car when my grand father passed away. Plymouth Sundance. It treated me well. I traded it in on my 1994 325is when I graduated college and got a real job.
