Probably not a great idea. Although I learned to drive in one and it was the family car. Not a 6 cylinder, though...

Nice to know I have a SoCal kid's car

Relevant question will be whether my son will get it in 5+ years.

I certainly hope they have reliable self-driving cars by then.

On old well sorted E36 would be a great choice but very hard to find at this point.
