Not all the good ones are cash only.

Just most of them.

Not to go OT, but my mom is a Psychologist. She no longer takes insurance, but she's also semi retired. When she worked full time, she had a small percent of her clients that were on insurance. But she wouldn't take more since they effectively cost her money (reduced rates, long payment terms, tons of paperwork to file).

Finding them is not easy. Once you do, it's fine, but until then...ugh. True story.

I know it's terrible for them and don't blame them. It applies to almost everyone delivering some kind of health care in a sole proprietorship type of situation. My cousin is a speech pathologist and has had similar issues. She says it's gotten worse in the past 15 years.

With mental health, it just makes it that much more difficult for people to get help they need.

You've just described one of the reasons why I started teaching myself how to work on cars back in my teenage years.

So I took the car back to get the alignment redone. They charged me half the price of a new alignment. I agreed, since it was half my fault for being wishy-washy.

The good news: Getting back to zero toe is SO MUCH BETTER. Absolutely a noticeable difference and much more fun to drive. You turn the wheel and it turns instantly. Love it.

I installed the 18" wheels/tires about the same time as the alignment and I wasn't sure which one was the main cause of the steering being suckier. Now I know.

The bad news: I asked for 0.16 degrees of total rear toe. They gave me 0.30 (0.15 per side). This was also half my fault - I said "total" in words, but on the paper I gave them I just said "toe".

They didn't have time to fix it on the spot so I go back next week

This car is turning out to be the Princess and the Pea.

Since I found it for you, it may be all my fault.

Yes I'll try to figure out how to blame you for all of this somehow.
