I used the place bren suggested and their work seems good. I'm a little frustrated with how they put things back together. I had to wiggle the weatherstripping over the panels on almost every panel they took off. They also must have used their greasy hands to put it all back together because I needed to wipe down all the plastic panels and still have to get several smudges off of some upholstered pieces. Any suggestions for fabric/upholstery cleaners?
Oh, sorry. I'll keep that in mind next time I use them for sure.

Maybe Clyde can chime in about the Armor All multipurpose cleaner stuff. I think it's pretty much god's gift to grease removal. Pretty sure it worked for him too. I don't want to be responsible for any more disappointment though.

Oh, I used plenty of the Armor All wipes on the plastic stuff. They worked amazingly well and way better than I expected. I was hesitant to use it on the fabricky stuff though.

I would still use them again. They were flexible and the body work itself looks good.

Not the greasy stuff. Look for the "cleaner." I've used it on fabric with no issue (seats and clothes) but YMMV and all that.

edit: oh, and grab a stiff bristle brush of some sort to scrub the fabric.

I like the Griot's Interior Cleaner. It's good and available at Advance.

Oh, I think I have some of that too. My sister-in-law got me an Armor All kit last year.

I'll check that out too, I have an Advance gift card to burn, and their coupons are always good.

Thanks.

I had a small bottle of that, but never tried in on nasty grease. It does smell better.

It helped about 80% for me. It wasn't a wonder product, but that may have been my fear of Armor All and inadequate bushing. OTOH, a couple weeks later, there was no sign of brake dust in the very light colored upholstery. No complaints, for sure.

So... I was driving the CR-V last night and moved the sun visor to the side to block the sun, and it fell in my lap. After fixing all of the weatherstripping/panel overlaps myself, I suppose I'm headed back to the body shop. My wife now understands why I was so annoyed to have the car at a body shop with the headliner off.

It looks like they put both of the visors back without clips or the screws needed to keep it in place.
