Painting Rims?
Besides hitting a set with a spray bottle in my backyard again, has anyone had experience painting a set of rims?
I have a set that are very lightweight and perfect for their current use, but they're just ugly. I figure a coat of silver or possibly gloss black might make them look less hideous, but what would be the rough "going rate" for a simple paint job for 4 rims that are in otherwise great condition at a shop? I did partial plasti-dip on another set that has held up, but I don't want to go that route with this set. Any other ideas? |

I paid $600 to have my 911 wheels powdercoated black plus $60 to have the center caps done as well.
They look incredible ... I'm no expert but the problem with painting the wheels are the paint will chip ... powdercoating is a better way to go |
