Potentially a lot more fun than an average of 52mph.
I wonder what the average number of shifts per hour would be at 22mph versus 52mph. I suspect the 22mpg number would be much higher. If shifting is about fun, wouldn't more shifts/hour = more fun?

My average MPH is somewhere in the 25 to 30 range, it's mostly country roads with the slow-down occurring in the populated areas - I shift a LOT, especially over the hills and sweeping turns - it's fun (if not particularly 'fast'). Ed |

I love the look of that car, the color combo, wheels, etc. look great!! Just agree, too bad it is not an S. It is expensive enough that I would absolutely have to pass in favor of an S.

All of the 2000-2002 Boxster S cars had white gauges.

Black so doesn't suit the boxster.
FC's spec is close to mine.. However, if he means the current fashion carbon seats, I have no interest. They seem to have serious discomfort potential. Not a big yellow fan, but if that 09 you posted were an S and new, I'd seriously be thinking about a trade of my 06. |

Ok, I counted on the way home.
44 gear changes in 3.8 miles.

JST-
Was this one this cheap the last time we mentioned it? I recall it being around $24k. Yes, the rims suck. But this is pretty cheap for a 987. http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...5&aff=national |
