That is a great commuter car but $16K!

The side and rear profiles still look good today. It is the front in the headlights and grill area that really look bad at this point. Oh and a set of monoblock’s would not hurt either!! =P

Look at how well that interior has held up.

Moral is don't buy a used car for the foreseeable future unless you have no other choice!

On the flip side if you have one to sell that you don’t need to replace it with something OR you want to sell and buy new then YES by all means do it now!

Agreed… and a good thing I purchased the E39 prior to all this crap beginning. I overpaid for it, but no where near today’s used auto prices.

Do you think the time your M3 spends in the BMW museum will add to its value? If so, I assume you are documenting its visit some how?

Most certainly as it is the only privately held E30 M3 in the country to have be displayed (3x) in the only BMW corporate museum within the United States. It is documented all over social media as well as in BMWs own Zentrum pamphlet that you can pick up when visiting the museum. Other than various photos, a signed loan contract, various emails with BMW Classic, and a few BMW NA point of contacts that is all I have on my end.

Edit: I would gladly sell it today if approached as I have a number in my head as to what it would take and it is in excess of the last offer I declined approx 3-4 years ago.

When do you think you'll list on BaT? If ever a car was a perfect candidate...

Fortunately I am in a position that I will never be forced to sell, but at some point it will be cut from the cord. FYI, BaT can be a real PITA as a seller. You must be fully dedicated to the listing for a week in order for it to be financially beneficial.
