Agreed.

Here’s the Gentian 911. Just…awfully close to navy.

There were some very strange combos in that link FC posted, but I think most helpful for me was the espresso/guards
Red, which looks a little too much like a Ferrari scheme for me.

That pic illustrates well my dislike for black wheels. The picture itself isn't particularly good and may be to blame, but I agree that Gentian looks pretty flat there.

Maybe it would make sense for me to go find a yellow car to look at in person. I'm pretty sure I'll like it.

Black wheels to me only work on very bright colors. I also like the wheels on my F80 because they are not totally black. And again, bright car color.

I still refuse to entirely kill yellow as an option, but it is a pretty damn loud color.

The new Boxster doesn’t look bad in any color (when you look through that thread that Nate posted).

Meanwhile Vaughn Gittin Jr. apparently paid $30 grand to have his Ford GT painted (checks notes) grey.

I was not expecting to like it when I read your post but it works.

For sure red is the lead color with white as a backup.

I am getting turned off of the GTS special interior. Too much fuzzy crap. I just realized the extent of its use. It's on door handles, arm rest, etc. Too many wear surfaces.

Yeah, plus it's just so expensive. I've actually been impressed at how well the alcantara on my GT3 shift knob has held up (ironically, better than the stitching on the leather steering wheel), but I wouldn't pay extra to have the whole interior of the car coated in it.
