On the sticker. I haven't really been following transaction costs, though I imagine it'll be harder to get a deal on the ST for the first few months.

Regardless, the Mustang is just a very different car. A much faster car, but a very different car. There are lots of people who might cross-shop the two, but there are also lots of people for whom the Focus would be a much better daily driver.

X plan base is $23.2.

X plan on the ST3 is $27.5 and most deals seems to be near there.

The ST3 is the everything-but-moonroof package.

X plan pricing above includes destination plus the max admin and doc fees allowable with X plan.

Yes, they are me. I'll put snows on the ST without another thought. Not so much with a Mustang.

Except for all the reasons I stupidly passed on the G8 GXP, I would almost think about it, but after 3+ years in the Miata now, I want something not tiny inside that I need to contort myself to get in and out of. Back seat is almost mandatory, and with a back seat must come their own doors. I don't want to buy a Boxster. I really don't. I really, really don't. Unless I find the right lease on the right four-door-something-sucky-that-I-can-tolerate-the-occasional-multi-hour-trip-driving.

I really want to drive one. Part of me though knows I would get sick of that interior over time.

To quote someone famous, "Anyone who thinks I am not getting one of these hasn't been paying attention."

Now, we just have to see if it's just another George Bush, "Read my lips," moment. I don't think it is.
