Detailing Frenzy...
My arms and shoulders are *really* sore.
The official TeamWTF?! E30 went first last weekend. Sonax Hybrid NPT paint cleaner, letting the pad do the work on the PC. The yellow car went yesterday. Again, the NPT followed by two coats of Sonax Polymer Net Shield. It was dark by the time I pulled it out, so I don't have a good picture yet. And the truck today. What a mess. It's never been detailed in the decade that it's been in the family, and it showed. It's a meaningfully different shade of white now. Also, the paint is disorientingly smooth. Did I mention that I'm sore? Sometime soon, the E46 will be up. The iX is a pretty hopeless case at this point, so I won't be doing much with that. That shell's lifespan is definitely looking limited.

It's got 200k or so on it. It's generally the backup car/weekend store runner and lives out at Mike's, so it gets driven regularly but not a huge amount. It's currently in town as the iX needs some work and it needs an emissions test.

Looks great. I remember once having the time and inclination to do that. Not so much anymore.

Looks great. I did the same thing, though with completely different products, to the Boxster, the Mazdaspeed and the truck at the end of the fall. I'm amazed how good some of the newer generation of detailing products have gotten. I really hate detailing cars, and it was downright easy (granted... using a PC).
