The 930s have long since blasted past the point where I'd ever be able to afford one. Basically every air cooled 911 is there at this point, except maybe the mid year SCs.

Stolen from JV's Facebook page: http://detroit.craigslist.org/wyn/cto/5784062121.html

LS3 swapped ZHP sedan. Looks like a very nice build, but 27K? Ah...no.

Oddly, the SC would be my first choice.

Meh-- my father in law has had a 930 since new in 87. Have driven it a few times. It's beautiful to look at but kind of a bear to drive. You have to REALLY be in the mood to drive-- my FIL probably drives his twice a year. Have driven other air cooled 911s and just don't get all the excitement over them (other than the fact they look very cool). They even sound like crap.

$27K may reflect the amount of money and work that went into that build, but I wouldn't pay that much for that project either. Intriguing idea, however.

My cousin owned one of these. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/198...e-959-komfort/

He used his bonus for the work he did creating Atari's Pole Position video game to buy it.

His was red

I saw this in a couple of places online today. In principle, it sounds sweet. Not sure about this particular car, though.

E30 "M3" Touring with an S54- http://bringatrailer.com/2016/09/21/...w-e30-touring/

Price is insane too, $65K.

No, he kept it for 7 years. A few years ago (he lives outside of Port Townsend now) he told me it was a money pit. He said he was glad he owned it, and was glad when he sold it
