The Good Commute

AAaaaaaahhhh . . . Nice commute this morning.

Clear blue skies over Seattle. Nice warm sun with a gentle breeze on the air. . . . and the top down and doors off on the jeep.

Gotta love days like this. It even makes sitting in traffic enjoyable being able to kick back, relax, rest your foot on the door sill. Nice. Like driving a park bench.

Oh, and incidentally, popping the doors off instantly shaved 100 lb. off the weigh tof my Jeep. Pretty easy lightening program.

Not quite as good - but I have a pretty good commute especially now in my current job...

Walk 15 minutes, get on ferry (on days like this I sit on the open upper deck getting a nice sun/wind therapy) and watch Manhattan for eight minutes then walk three minutes to my office.

On a rainy, windy day it becomes more than unpleasant as I get soaked no matter how big my umbrella is.

Pretty much the same commute for me when I do go into our office in SF.

Take the Marin ferry in to SF and 10 min walk to the office.

I agree it is nice as a change.

And that's got to suck hard in late January. Are you where the PATH is a viable alternative?

I live 0.38 miles from my office. Sometimes it takes me 10 minutes to walk, but not usually.

Step 1: Get out of bed.

Step 2: Put on some clothes.

Step 3: Turn on the computer and work.

AHhhhhhhh...I love my job.

You haven't yet figured out that Step 2 is optional?
