But if it makes you feel better for me to say I was wrong, I'm not too proud to admit that while that quote may be out of context, I was wrong to say that because it's not always true. |

I guess I didn't realize "able to haul large containers of toilet paper from BJ's" would qualify as a focused intended use. In that case I don't see how you can have any disdain for anyone driving Suburbans, since Suburbans are sometimes necessary for large shopping trips too.

And BTW, I know you are pulling my leg on this because I'm quite sure you're smart enough to realize that there were lots of SUV's in the market and I went out of my way to buy a Volvo wagon that I knew had some limitations. I'll say it once again. My issue is with people who buy SUV's only becasue they think they are cool (which is a lot of people), and with people who buy an SUV far larger then they would normally need most of the time and drive it everyday to commute, etc. I think it's wastefull, offers a poor driving experience, most don't know how to drive such a large vehicle, and the are a liability to the rest of the drivers. In essence, I have an issue with uneducated cutomers buying SUV's. Really now, let's drop it. |
