Thanks, I just went on rennlist and saw the increases … I eventually want to get a 992.2 S coupe I was leaning towards a 2024 and it really sucks, last year my spec was $140k, which the same spec is now $150k for a 2023 and with this new increase it is close to $160k …$20k increase within a couple of model years is crazy.
I know people are going to say Porsche can do it and people will still pay but it still sucks. They pretty much came right out and said they are increasing the prices so they can make more money. I have no issues with a company making more money but it still does seem greedy to me to increase it so much in such little time. |

Given this latest news, I cannot foresee me ever spending the cash to order/purchase a new Porsche. Time will tell, but the older I get the more I greatly prefer to hold onto the funds.

I guess it makes sense from a purely supply and demand standpoint… the fact that they have such long waitlists on the 911 plus many dealers asking ADMs means there’s an opportunity to raise prices. And who knows …maybe the next recession will serve to temper some of these increases Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I just got an email from one of the New England dealers I reached out to back in December and he said they have a May allocation with no ADM but a forced $5k in PPF.
I guess technically that would have been a better move, but I am kind of excited about the PEC delivery and beyond the cost of that, it's not that much of a premium that I paid to secure the allocation earlier. Like I said, I didn't want to play chicken. |
