lol. I guess the A6 is a little underbraked for LA driving

I guess that’s another project for while I’m out here. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen rotors this bad from old people street driving. Pad deposits, grooves, blue tint… These are getting hot.

Good thing you’re out there to rescue them from all their car woes!

They must be riding the brakes?

How much of this is marginally adequate brake system for a heavier car versus chronic LA traffic?

Based on how I see most people drive in stop and go traffic (keep accelerating until you're close to the stopped traffic then slam on the brakes), those rotors look about right.

yeah I seem to piss off a lot of people by driving slowly up to a red light. I am respectful if people are trying to turn at the red light.

I would have expected 356mm rotors to be enough. But I guess the car sees a lot of 80+ to zero hard stops. Followed by sitting still with the brakes hot, of course. Yes it vibrates.
