This is basically my perfect spec:
https://www.intersportsales.com/2009...8/Details.aspx 987.2, 25K miles, blue over tan, Carrera II wheels. It's gorgeous. But there's no way I'm paying 63K for it. |

That is a beautiful color combo, I always liked that shade of blue, my 997 was black with that same tan interior plus I had purchased a set of those wheels ... they are pretty hot.
BUT at $63k that is a lot of $$. Btw sorry buddy but you must be having a brain fart ... I think you meant to type 997.2 |

Once again, even if this one is overpriced. These cars have depreciated near ZERO. I bought mine in the fall of 2011 (when the car had substantial warranty) with 5 or 10k miles on it, for around $70k and I traded out in Spring 2012 at around the same price. Sure that was a non-S, but that's still in the 50's assuming not too many miles, SEVEN years on! |

Boxster is Cobalt blue over blue interior, which is pretty striking. I'd prefer a darker interior (the tan ones are kind of gross) and a brighter blue, but it's hard enough finding a car that isn't black or silver. This isn't my ideal spec--just pretty close.

If it makes you feel any better, I find the power plant in the 997.2 to be underwhelming. The car is heavy and doesn’t feel as nimble for handling as any Boxster. To me, it’s “meh”. There’s nothing especially appealing about the 997.2 to me. It looks too plain to me. Not wide enough hips. Not enough power for how heavy it is. Looks dumb when the tiny little spoiler is deployed. I think the 991 and 992s have more character from a styling point of view. At this point I’d seek one of those out. And finally.....the Boxster still always drives better. (Have to be honest)
