The key is that an LSD wasn't offered stock. There are certainly LSD options if I don't care about staying stock. But there is no non-stock class where the Boxster is remotely competitive.
I would need to put some 710s on the car to determine if it's more fun than the RX-8. As it stands, the Boxster has some distinct fun-factor advantages over the RX-8. It can be steered with the throttle at low speeds. It rotates more predictably and is easier to recover. It has higher spring rates and better roll control. |
