Sounds cool.

But you'd have thought someone in marketing would have lobbied for a different code. Kinda like ZSOSO.

Getting interesting.

Too bad it's a 'vert. I'd prefer a sports car.

ok...you've convinced me...

I'm sorry that I posted this thread...

Please don't let me distract you with any kind of discussion about a low priced option package on a low priced domestic car (one built by GM at that ) that (should) actually improve performance significantly in an area that a number of us actually do have a significant interest. I was clearly mistaken in thinking, nay, imagining that someone here might see this as a meaningful development in GM business practices...offering an option package which should be highly desireable to a very small group of consumers that pine for stiffer springs, better handling, LSDs and less bloat (a target demographic which is comprised of mostly people like us...well, maybe not the poseurs among us, but the rest of us, nonetheless). It remains to be seen whether they got it right (or even close), but GM is taking on an undisputed class leader in one section of a niche market and is well on its way to truly clobbering the poor sucker from Hiroshima while preparing to take on and put the smackdown on the class leader of the middle section of that niche market from Suzuka. No, none of that is worthy of a real discussion.

Please return to your regularly scheduled discussion of overpriced German ///marketing packages, interwebnet arguing about how lap times on a track in a far away land have some kind of bearing on how that ridiculously overpriced and overpowered car might perform as a commuter on American streets.

I applaud the new sport package. It shows that GM might be up for offering something to the masses that isn't rental fleet gutter trash.

When they offer a real engine in the Solstice, not a slightly tuned Cavalier 4, I'll be genuinely interested in it.

Depending where the eventual hi-po Solstice gets classed I could see myself owning one. It should be neat to see the Z0K Solstices whoop ass at Nationals this year.
