Not sure which thread to post on this since we have 2 threads with the same topic
Those who are ordering, what are you hearing as far as time frame ... I am curious because I just spoke to a second dealer (whom is one of the larger Long Island dealers) who I was thinking of putting a deposit down on the 992 to see which dealer gets the allocation first and they are showing 10 months for a 992 S Coupe allocation. The Boxster GTS they said was 8-10 months away before an allocation becomes available though the Cayman GTS they have a Feb/March Allocation available. So basically Boxster GTS's and 992's at this point will be 2023's and are pretty far away, it is hard to think of colors, configurations, etc when waiting that long just to put an order in I kind of think about it as put the name down and forget it until you get a call it is time. |

None of the dealers I talked to would commit to a date to get off the waiting list. I don't think they know. Doesn't bother me. But then I don't buy a new car every year

It does make it hard to plan and hard to get sort of into it, but...if they don't know, they don't know. |

I know that pulling the trigger right now is not something I want to do for many reasons. The earliest would be 6 months from now. |
