How long do you give yourself for the car to be down with no decision made?

Well, uh, Kobi is seriously dragging her feet on any announcements, but I'd really, really, really like to have this car largely buttoned back up by mid July.

Funny anecdote - Some years ago I was hanging out with Eddie Hill at his house and he asked me if I wanted one of his record-breaking pistons as a souvenir. I said sure and we headed out back his shop. He had a large carton full of pistons on the shelf and pulled one out and said "That doesn't look half bad" and moved it to a different box before he found a different one to give me.

Of course, his house also has a driveway that you can do 1/4 mile runs on.

Holy crap. I just priced out piston rings for this motor. I think I'll strike that part of the plan.

Note: Per piston. This is also the thing that I feel like I’m most likely to fuck up, which also factors into the calculation.
