There's definitely a lot of back-and-forth going on.
The data Tesla has is very interesting though. The Jalopnik article does point out the small parking lot item in Musk's blog as controversial -- and I agree with Jalopnik; Musk's point was made prior to that... On a side note, I was poking around the Tesla site today. This page is really well done -- the interactive info graphics are very good marketing... http://www.teslamotors.com/goelectric#
