Jeff are you geewiz on BAT?

I just saw this comment on a 2007 E63 wagon that just ended now.

geewiz 94
@countrysquire Agreed. If I had been able to reach the SO to get that permission this AM, I would have been in this bidding to replace my grey/grey 996 turbo as the occasional family vehicle….

Ha

My wife would love a AMG wagon to replace her highlander so almost could be me

Three cars on BaT that I'd buy today, if I could buy another car today:

-This '95 Z28 hardtop coupe: http://bringatrailer.com/2017/05/24/...et-camaro-z28/

-This mid-year Corvette roadster (gorgeous): http://bringatrailer.com/listing/196...convertible-2/

-And I guess I wouldn't buy this one, since I have one, but this is a very nice example of an E46 M3: http://bringatrailer.com/listing/2005-bmw-m3-9/

My neighbor across the street has that generation corvette convertible in that color scheme. His has side pipes. He takes it out of the garage almost every nice weekend, but it barely ever leaves his driveway. Its a pretty car and sounds great.

Come to think of it there are some pretty cool cars on my block. There's the sting ray, a 964 targa, a c3 vette (that is currently non-functional), and my BMW buddy at the end of my street with the 2002, e30 M3, e36 race car, and z3m.

I am not a big fan of side pipes, EXCEPT for that generation vette and possibly on a same era GTO

Most (all the ones I referenced) are older and have no kids living at home any more. Think of the cars you'd have if kids didn't absorb 80% of your disposable income.

Our neighborhood was built in the early 80s. A lot of the people here moved in shortly after it was build and have stayed, raised their kids and are on the backside of life. We're part of 'the second wave', families that bought from original owners and are raising our generation of kids now.
