I would consider an AWD M3 sedan as my SUV substitute. But not feeling this design for sure...

I get making the M3 more muscular and aggressive than the regular 3er. But even in vanilla version, this M3/4 has gotten cartoonish. It's too aggressive now. Too many vanes, vents, slats, wings, cut-outs, etc. There is no way to get a subtle M3 anymore.

I know I have a bright, orange M3 so I shouldn't talk, but that hood looks like either a crazy, aftermarket idea, or something out of a racing version. Too much for a regular M3, IMO.

It's akin to Porsche eventually making every 911 look like a GT3 RS.

I completely agree. The M340 probably makes more sense, but wow, it's gotten crazy expensive.

Put that front end on the G80 sedan, and it'd look pretty good. I guess the good news is that there will probably be aftermarket bumper options to fix the schnoz.

Agreed. As I said, it's a bit more modern and a bit more aggressive evolution of the F8X and it doesn't look bad, except for the kidneys.

The F82 looks bad all around, though.

Looks like the best answer is to always have a Euro plate across the grin.
