Last year of the e36 M3. This convertible has only 18K miles and has a 5 speed manual transmission. This M3 is loaded with all options available. One owner, always garaged, never smoked in. This car has never been in any accidents or fender benders. No track or autox. Paint is flawless with no dents. The wheels do have curb rash however. Interior is in great shape, leather has been well taken care of. Rear window recently polished and is in great shape.

This must be one of the best kept, lowest mileage M3 convertibles available! Blue book value is $28,500 but asking only $25,000 to the first buyer who has financing secured. Car is located in southern california (orange county). Please email with any questions (serious inquiries only please) and thanks for looking! Here are a few pictures:

I thought the goal was a decent family hauler to replace the Slaab?

I keep losing track of what the goal is...

True, but it's a good color combo for sitting in the hot sun with the top down--probably about as cool as it gets. Amazing mileage. Like a time machine. I have that much on my 2002 330i, and I thought I had low mileage.

Low mileage is not always a good thing. A car that has sat undriven for a long time - or a car that was used exculsively for short, not-taken-up-to-temp trips - is one I'd only take at a discount.

True. But with a convertible, you can imagine weekend-only trips. Especially in California, I could postulate someone had a slushie highway car and a weekend stick.

Okay, okay...

It *would* be a good idea (and I have even suggested an E36 M3C to replace both of our cars) but the attachment is not just to *an* E36 convertible, but to her specific copy.

It was the first new car she ever owned. She knows where it's been it's entire life and has performed all of the maintenance on it herself. It's never even spent a night outdoors.

It's an emotional attachment unrelated to logic, which is something I know we can all relate to on some level.

Oh, and THAT particular copy isn't exactly local.
