Any Montgomery County MD body shop recommendations

This time it's the Audi. I wasn't there, so I can't say exactly what happened. But, apparently, we're at fault.

I am so sick of going down to Alexandria to get to a body shop. There is nothing convenient about that schlepp - two cars one way, one car back, 50+ minutes drive time each way. I will if I have to, but...

Anyone have a decent Montgomery County shop recommendation. It's not serious damage (no chance the unibody is bent) but I don't want it to look crappy either.

It had been a while since we had to deal with a body shop, so I guess we were due.

In theory, Wagonwerks will pick up and drop off at the Metro.

Which is, itself, a PITA. I did that the two times I picked up the M3 from there.

I guess waiting at the metro wouldn't be as bad in summer.

You were overdue for dinner at our place, anyway.

We'd schlepp down for that even without an auto body shop excuse.

Hey, that looks almost exactly like the damage that Wagonwerks fixed on our Audi. And then the damage that Wagonwerks fixed on our Audi again, 6 weeks later.

I am going to guess $4K. Not sure whether the headlamp will have to be replaced, but I bet yes. (EDIT--Just looked at the pic more closely and saw that the lens is broken, so obvs. yes.) And that's a $900 part, if memory serves (assuming you have Xenon and headlight swiveling).

But no matter where you take it, we should have you over sometime in the not too distant future.

No xenons. And the fender panel is pushed rearward just enough that the drivers door catches the fender panel when opening/closing. So it might be slightly worse than it appears.

I wish it had been on the other side where we have some serious scratches that I'd love to get taken care of.

Might still be able to. Blending black is a bitch for the paint guy anyway.

Sorry about the damage. No one was hurt, that is the most important thing

I'm calling the "high-end" dealers nearby and getting their body shop recommendations. So far..

Rockville Porsche Audi recommends Auto Body Clinic (Rockville) and Europros (G'burg)

Tischer Audi recommends their own shop (Beltsville - ugh!) and Europros (G'burg)

Rockville Lexus' website links to "their" collision center which happens to be Europros (http://bravuraauto.com/img/lexus_of_.../Euro_Pros.pdf).

The local BMW (VOB - ugh!) and Mercedes (Euromotorcars) dealers have their own shops so no meaningful recommendations from them.

I'm thinking we'll take it to Europros. The guy I spoke to at Tischer was quite emphatic in complimenting the quality and thoroughness of their work, saying they were a bit slow, but willing to fight for supplementals as needed - which sounds like Wagonworks back in their prime.

EDIT- Just spoke to Europros and after I mentioned previously dealing with Wagonworks and being both annoyed at the schlepp and inclined to think they have gone down hill in recent years, the guy I was talking to mentioned that the owners at Europros left Wagonworlk about 10 years ago and started this shop. He agreed (surprise!) that Wagonworks has been slipping. Still, they seem to be a shop in the same vein as WW and a lot closer. I'm eager to see their work.
