That's horrendous. But, to be fair, its an "artists rendition of what it might look like", not something out of BMW. I get the sense that BMW is starting to get hte message that ugly doesn't sell; so I expect aesthetic improvements in the next generation. The recent pic of the future 7 series in Automobile (granted, also an artists rendition), gives me some hope.

Oh com'on, TD.... not everyone doesn't like the beached whale theme.

Besides, that's just the artists rendering.... I'm sure the actual styling will be much worse.

Title should read "worst photohack ever".

I can sh*t out better looking sketches and photohacks than that.

Exactly. That thing just looks silly.

I find the idea pretty sexy and exciting.

I saw that in my copy of C/D. It looks like the "artist" tried to make an M1 from a Z4. Blech.

I have seen much worse prototypes at auto shows before. not that this one is pretty. I wonder if that mustache is required to own one.

I was surprised by the pic when I flipped through my C&D the other day.

I could see it having been posted about the time the Z4 came out. But I doubt that would be what it really looks like since the Z4 has been a sales flop...
