That M3 looks really nice, those are the factory rims ? I could almost swear those are the same rims my mother had on her 1986 (or it might have been 1988) 325is

Yes, those are the original wheels. I'll defer to blee or nick on whether they are the same as the wheels used on other E30s; I don't think so, though, because wasn't the M3 five-lug?

No. Because M's (like many other sports cars) depreciate with miles. Only the low-mileage M's command the higher values. There are plenty of moon mileage e46M's like "yours" would have been.

SO many memories in a GTI I had like this. Mine was also an 83 Black/Red. I was living in Santa Cruz and I got it from the original owner in 86. I loved that car. It was perfect for the Santa Cruz scene at the time.
