I think I’ve mentioned this here before, my sister had bought a used gorgeous black on black manual 928S with low mileage, I don’t remember the year but the car was perfect and was only a few years old. Awesome car except it had one issue after another if memory serves me right she gave it back to the dealer she bought it from a few months later at a loss but was just happy to get rid of it.

Since then I could never see getting a 928 ... at least back then it was covered under warranty. From what I read if you get a 928 you should buy them in pairs so you have a part’s car

As much as I liked the first gen CTS-V, that one never tempted me. I don’t really want a supercharged V8 with that kind of power for daily driving; a NA option would be a lot better.

Or more logically, sell the Boxster and get a three year old 240i or something. Or if you are truly bored and have time, get something old (e34 m5?) and start wrenching...

Damn that's cool.

I'm not sure I would want to drive it.. but it's still cool.

Right, sorry--as much as I liked the first gen CTSV, the second gen (like the one at the link) never tempted me, because of the supercharger.

You certainly won't be "bored."

That is ... interesting... The snail peeking is not my style, but the manual is cool. But wait, does M6 diff mean it's gone RWD?

I do have a soft spot for L322, which are as soft as trucks get. The year/model to buy is 2007-09 supercharged. The engines after 2010 are not as good, even if electronics improved. Pre 2007 they are dogs.
