I think I’ve mentioned this here before, my sister had bought a used gorgeous black on black manual 928S with low mileage, I don’t remember the year but the car was perfect and was only a few years old. Awesome car except it had one issue after another if memory serves me right she gave it back to the dealer she bought it from a few months later at a loss but was just happy to get rid of it.
Since then I could never see getting a 928 ... at least back then it was covered under warranty. From what I read if you get a 928 you should buy them in pairs so you have a part’s car |

As much as I liked the first gen CTS-V, that one never tempted me. I don’t really want a supercharged V8 with that kind of power for daily driving; a NA option would be a lot better.

Or more logically, sell the Boxster and get a three year old 240i or something. Or if you are truly bored and have time, get something old (e34 m5?) and start wrenching...

I do have a soft spot for L322, which are as soft as trucks get. The year/model to buy is 2007-09 supercharged. The engines after 2010 are not as good, even if electronics improved. Pre 2007 they are dogs. |
