Unfortunately I can't make it this year. I'm booked solid thru June.

$2k seems a little steep. Is that par for a PDE?

$2K for one day?

Sharp, are you driving, or just watching?

Just like when Jeopardy comes on - I'm "just watching"

Chuck seems to have not made the 2k thing very clear as everyone panics when they see the fee.

It's optional and would be applied to the 25k fee for a 10 year membership to the "club at lime rock", a sort of country club for track junkies.

What it gives you on the 10th is a day of driving with the instructors, on track in the spec Miatas (skip barber wants to sell memberships).

Otherwise, the day is free - you can roam the place, drive a parade lap (if you show early at noon), and have lunch.

I'm going for the socializing (you guys and whomever else shows), the drive up (beautiful) and the pics-taking opportunities!

Also, Lime Rock's a fun place to just hang.

As I got older, my Dad would let me hang out in the pits.

On the other hand, I really don't like the "we have to kill Lime Rock in order to save it" that's going on now, with clubs losing some / all of their access and the "Millionaire's Club" marketing that is going on.

In any event, I'm still prepping my Atom for the season and it won't be ready in time, so I don't have to decide at this point.
