Yep. Stop and Go driving takes on another level in LA. "Go" can mean getting up to 70+mph, and "stop" can mean slamming on the brakes repeatedly. Plus even in lower speed stop and go I suppose the brakes never really get a chance to cool.

It’s not like these are small… 14” rotors under 19” wheels for scale.

My driving does not fit in here at all, other than that people drive fairly quickly on the highway.

It is a strange mix of new highway (405) and ghetto old crumbling highway (the 5).

Well, completed a decent bit of work out here

M3 -
Bilstein B6 Damptronic shocks and struts installed
New front thrust arms and control arms
New driveshaft flex disc
Corrected installation of undertray and washer bottle

A6 -
New front brakes

Focus RS -
Taught my sister how do do her oil changes

The rotors on the Audi are already fucked again. I guess it's time for pads that do a better job scraping the rotors.
