What surprises me about the 992 is that it is so aluminum intensive, but still gains weight on the 991. Also it is not markedly faster on reference tracks when compared with the 991. So I cannot figure out what would make this latest generation 911 the cat’s meow. The fact that it will be an e-hybrid?

Yeah... I'd agree that the regular 992 doesn't seem to move the game on much from the 991.2. My comment as more about value..with used prices coming so close to new prices I think I'd just take the new one.

I wonder if this person bought the 992 TTS and then got a GT3 allocation, so are selling to make a little money.

The new TTS looks amazing (markedly better than my car, IMO). I think the new GT3 with the double wishbone suspension upfront is the car to have though.
