I didn't know that Toyota had input into the B58. I didn't realize their partnership went back far enough, the b58 was delivered in late 2015 if not earlier for MY2016 so must have been in the works for some time.

Interesting. Hadn’t heard that either. Do you have any links to stories about that? I know Toyota likes to use dual injection systems (both port and direct) but I don’t think the b58 has that setup.
