It's much better. Much more subtle, except in heavy airco season where you can feel the engine kick back on suddenly to keep it going.

Yep. It’s one of the benefits of so-called mild hybrid setups that have integrated starter generators. Some also have electric AC compressors so you dont lose cooling when the car stops. I hated the start stop on my f10 5 series but barely notice it on the RRS
