The sky is the limit
It just goes to show that you can ask whatever you want and someone is bound to pay it.

The Lemans Blue interior on the 2002 m5 may be the worst interior ever made.

I'd take one of the blues over a brown or tan any day.

Hope the Stuka craft doesn't see those M5 prices. He'd probably croak stemming from the loss of blood shooting out of his eyes.

According to m5board, the'03 $63,900 M5 sold for asking within a week of being listed. Kind of scary.

When I go lurking on eBay, I often find things with Buy it Now prices that have no basis in reality. They get listed and re-listed when no one bites. I guess they're just waiting for someone to get suckered. It's a free country. |

That reminds me. . . . those Z8s are wickedly awesome roadsters. I put them up there with the 427 Cobras in terms of styling awesomeness . . . but at different ends of the spectrum. Both timeless.

Interesting how tastes differ. I think the Z8 is one of the ugliest BMWs ever made.

I'm a big fan of the Z8 myself. I seem to recall a few of them having major issues with shock tower mounts tearing off, though...
