Yeah, that's what I understand as well. In fact, a couple of the reviews when it was new really trashed the ride quality and noted that the tires would rub the fenders on the slightest bumps. It's a sweet-looking car, but I don't know if its shortcomings could be fixed at a reasonable price.

My neighbor had one of the SSRs, although I believe he passed away sometime in the last year -- I didn't see him or the SSR this winter. They also were doing some work on the house -- looks like his son was around for a while to help out mom...

I saw one of those MINI coupes this morning... the chopped ones with the backwards baseball cap look. Hadn't seen one in quite a while. Damn, do they look stupid.

I see one every week or so. Agree -- they just look dumb. At least the drop-top version can put the top down...
