In Virginia, the Gadsden flag plates are Tea Party plates; the original number sequence for them all ended with "4TP." I don't think that makes them racist--certainly not as much as the Sons of Confederate Veterans tags that we also have here, because South. But it is a good indicator of political idiocy. I just love seeing Tea Party plates on Chrysler products. |

I did not know this until today, but TXDOT actually publishes the how many of each specialty plate are registered. So many categories, some of which have tiny numbers issued. Sad that the Young Lawyers plate, which I think is one of the best only has 558.
